Marshall Burchard
Partner, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Compliance Officer
Mr. Burchard is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Northlight Capital Partners. His responsibilities include day-to-day operations of NCP, including company financial management, enabling infrastructure and support for asset management activities, technology, corporate administration, and compliance.
Prior to NCP, from 2000 to 2008, Mr. Burchard was the Asia and subsequently global COO of GE Capital’s Global Financial Restructuring business, with responsibility for asset management platforms in 9 countries and assets under management (primarily sub and non-performing commercial real estate secured loans) of approximately $4 billion.
Prior to GE, Mr. Burchard worked in finance origination and was the Indonesia Country Manager for Enron International and was a management consultant with Booz & Company in Singapore. He started his career as a wireline and testing services field engineer and subsequently was a manager with Schlumberger.
Mr. Burchard holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Cornell University, an MBA with a concentration in information systems management from the University of Texas at Austin, and is a CFAⓇ charterholder.
