NCP invests capital in distressed, opportunistic and complex transactions where real estate is the primary form of collateral. These “special situation” investments are structured investments predominantly in the form of high-yield debt but may involve some level of equity investment.
NCP acquires and manages sub and-non-performing commercial debt and other financial instruments secured by real estate. Since 2013, NCP has closed over 20 portfolio transactions with several counterparties. Typical transactions range in size from $5 million to $40 million of capital deployment per deal, with the ability to invest larger amounts in specific situations.
