Chris DeStefano
Partner, Chief Investment Officer
Mr. DeStefano is the Chief Investment Officer of Northlight Capital Partners. His primary responsibilities include real estate asset valuation, strategic development, portfolio management and executing on the fund’s investment strategy. He is also responsible for overseeing the acquisitions and business development team for the Fund.
Prior to joining NCP, Mr. DeStefano founded and ran Arpeggia Real Estate Investments, acquiring and managing income producing residential properties in the greater New York area.
Additionally, Mr. DeStefano was a portfolio manager at Omega Advisors, a New York based hedge fund, from 2003 through 2005 where he managed approximately $100 Million of long/short equity and derivative investments. Prior to Omega, Mr. DeStefano founded, capitalized and ran Grey Matter investments, a quantitative equity trading fund.
Mr. DeStefano began his career in investment banking, holding positions at Kidder, Peabody & Co. and Dillon, Read & Co. and later spent time on the equity trading desk at J.P. Morgan & Co.
Mr. DeStefano holds a BA from Princeton University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
